Expanding Interconnections of Computers and Threats to Computer Security

There continues to be an exponential explosion of networking and communications. Think of a Google search a few years ago and how simple and straightforward it was. Now we have Images, YouTube, Maps and more. Notice how much of a technological powerhouse Google has become with Google + and Blogger. Or think of Facebook and it's 2012 IPO. We have Social Networking, iPads, tablets, 4G networks and more coming next month and next year. The interconnections of computers across the world is stunning now and continues to expand.

Virus threats have been part of computing since the early days. With the astounding expansion of the networks, it's understandable that the world of computer security has expanded as well. Now it's critical that users stay aware of the expanded threats to their network computing experience.
